Head & Wheble, Independent Funeral Directors in Bournemouth & Poole, were founded in the early part of the 20th century with the aim of advising friends, relatives and associates at a difficult and emotional time, and helping them give their loved ones a dignified and appropriate funeral.
From these early beginnings, the family business grew year after year as families, helped by the partners, recommended their service to others. Our founder, George Head, established his Funeral Service in 1926 at 1a Oxford Road, Lansdowne, Bournemouth where the present generations continue to this day.
Having been established for 90 years our professional experience has become invaluable to all our client families. Our quiet, efficient and caring service is available 24 hours a day 365 days of the year to help families deal with what is all to often an unfamiliar situation.
