Samlim Jidae Taekwondo Academy's primary location is at the prestigious Woodland Glade Sports & Leisure Centre in Bradley HD2 1QB. 'Samlim Jidae' has strong Korean cultural connotations and translates as 'Woodland Glade', which ties in with our venue name! Instructor Stephen Boardman MBE DL has 23 years' Instructor experience in both ITF and WT. A former senior Army Officer, he has taught people from age 4 years to 70+ years. His students have included both civilians and military personnel. Families are always welcome to both Taekwondo and Self-Defence classes. All Samlim Jidae Instructors are fully qualified, fully insured, Enhanced DBS vetted, First Aid qualified and Safeguarding qualified. The emphasis in class is on teaching high-quality techniques in a safe manner. Students are taught to understand the Taekwondo tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit, whilst having great FUN!
