King George’s Playing Fields offers a fantastic array of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The playing fields boasts a splash pad with fountains that are perfect for children to enjoy on a hot summer’s day, while the adventure playground offers kids the chance to climb, slide and explore to their hearts content. But that’s not all! In spring 2022, we’re pleased to announce that we will be opening a new café and reception area, a TAG Active facility, a soft play area, Changing Places accessible toilet facilities, a sensory room, changing facilities, a new golf club house with changing facilities and a golf pro shop.

Our adventure playground has been designed with the over 8’s in mind and makes for a fun day out. This State-of-the-art facility has a huge range of challenging structures, with both high and lower levels areas to be explored.

King George’s Splash Pad is a fantastic state-of-art facility for younger children to enjoy, including water jets, fountains, sidewinders, directional jets and cylinder spray.

Our sensory room is a safe therapeutic space for those who need it. The room has been designed to help people regulate, develop and engage their senses as they interact with and explore the environment.

There is a large, two-storey soft play area that’s suitable for children of all ages. It features large, separate areas for both toddlers and older children, meaning everyone can have fantastic fun in a safe environment.
