It was from here he enjoyed the beauty of the countryside on long walks over the hills to Porlock. This is now the popular Coleridge Way walk enjoyed by many visitors to the area. We are only four miles from the coast with many other beautiful walks. The Quantock Hills 'Area of Outstanding National Beauty' (AONB) was the first to be designated in England.
