'Kensa Karensa' is Cornish for first love and that is what I hope each piece of jewellery that I make says to you, but I want to offer more, hence the incorporation of 'Arts'. Creating, whether that be a unique piece of jewellery, a painting, a piece of crochet or a wood carving, is something that I have done for as long as I can remember. I find it fascinating to be able to make something out a raw material or to be able to up-cycle something old into something. Living in Cornwall makes this process almost magical; the moorland and the coast present constant muses and endless inspiration.
I love to use natural elements, be that silver, gold or copper, and match the beauty of the metal with stunning semi-precious stones or naturally washed sea-glass.
