An exciting NEW pre-school is due to open on Canvey Island in early 2017. Our fun, interactive & free flow sessions take place each day in a large, modern indoor hall where children have plenty of space to move freely around from one activity to another. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and provide an environment and activities to develop their social, communication and physical skills, learn through exploration, discovery and problem solving, and we introduce them to early literacy and numeracy skills. We also offer additional Second Steps within ours sessions aimed at preparing the older children for Primary School by introducing them to a classroom-like structure and routine, nurturing them towards investigating advanced skills and concepts. The emphasis remains as always on learning through play, each child will be supported and extended through each carefully planned activity to reach their full developmental goal.
