Lounge on the Green is an informal, modern fine dining restaurant situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Houghton, north of the city of Carlisle.
Established in 2017, the independently run restaurant is operated by acclaimed local chef, James Hill. James and his talented team of chefs are passionate about bringing a high-end, contemporary dining experience to the area, creating menus and dishes that are led by the seasons and showcase the best of British and European ingredients. A commitment to local, seasonal and sustainable food informs everything that they do, as does a desire to provide exemplary customer service.
