The Dicky As this beautiful 1800's Suffolk pub is known by locals and regulars. Thought to stem from its previous name, The Kicking Donkey Beer House. The Royal Oak Inn is effectionatly known as The Dicky, meaning donkey in Suffolk dialect. Cask ale has a loyal following at The Royal Oak. The three traditional hand pulls allow for us to offer a range of cask ales, offering something for everyone. Currently on tap; Green King Abbot Ale, Green King IPA with London Pride potentially appearing this weekend. New managment... Tom Brown has taken over management of The Royal Oak.
