Our story begins when Aztec Windows started trading in the city of Coventry in April 1988.
We started as a partnership and after 4 years (and 4 months) of growth we became a Limited Company. With our order book continuing to grow, our ethos of quality and service became the cornerstone of our business. In September 1993 we became proud members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, as a member of the Guild quality and professionalism of service are part of our core values. Our previous customers independently vet all of our work so that future customers can enjoy total peace of mind when dealing with Aztec. But our story does not stop there.
In May 2006 we went into the manufacture of PVCu windows and doors. With our knowledge of the window and door market, we setup quickly bringing on board major industry brands such as Halo, Mila & Winkhaus. We are now manufacturing the Veka Halo System 10 and Rustique profile systems to a high standard in our 6500 square foot factory. This was a major milestone in our story and one that has helped us keep our high customer satisfaction levels.
In late 2013 we launched our first branded product, a range of timber look-a-like flush windows we called The Prestige Collection. This range of windows quickly gained recognition throughout the industry and set us head and shoulders above our competitors – Some of which now buy this window from us. The addition of the Prestige Collection® to our product range was another proud moment in our story. We had started the move away from selling other brands to creating one of our own. The Prestige Collection® continues to grow and has become an award-winning product, of which we are very proud. Over the following years we have added to the Prestige Collection, it now comprises the original flush casement, composite doors, PVCu doors and our latest addition, the lipped casement.
2016 saw the introduction of another brand to our story line. We originally conceived Tinidor to help fellow installer McDermott windows. It was going to be part of our Prestige range, but we gave it its own brand identity as we quickly saw its potential. Tinidor has now become a go to brand for installers in Wales, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Norfolk and the rest of the UK.
As of today, Aztec provides one of the largest ranges of PVCu windows and doors in the West Midlands. We have designed all of our product lines around you, the homeowner. Our wealth of knowledge and attention to detail means that you get a product personalised to you and your home. Instead of offering you a product we think you should have, we listen to what you want and design our product around you. That’s what sets us apart from our competition, and that’s why 98% of our business comes from customer recommendations.
