Situated approximately 1.9 miles North of Hartland Village, 5 miles West from the little harbour and steep cobbled streets of Clovelly, 14 miles South of Bideford and 14 miles North of Bude. The cottages are in grounds covering an area of 14.5 acres with views looking out towards Stoke and the sea. This area of coastline boasts dramatic and spectacular views from the coastal footpaths, just 20 minutes walk from the cottages (1.8 miles). There are walks suitable for the enthusiastic and casual walker alike. SURROUNDING AREA Hartland Quay can offer spectacular views in all weathers plus lunches and thirst quenching drinks in the Wreckers Retreat whether its after a walk over the coastal paths or arriving by car. Only a short 20 minutes walk away going past Downe towards Berry can be found the beaches and rock-pools of our local bay of Berry or Blackpool beaches where children of all ages will love exploring. A little further a field the beaches and rock-pools of Sandymouth Bay, Welcombe Mouth, Bucks Cross and Widemouth Bay can be found.The village of Hartland which is within 20 minutes walking distance through woods, 30 minutes walk by road or 5 minutes by car (1.9 miles), offers a variety of shops e.g. green grocers, fish and chips, off licence/general store, cafe, craft shops, pubs, vets, doctors and post office/newsagent. We are ideally situated whether you want to walk along the cliffs on the coast paths for dramatic and breathtaking scenery, taking it easy and getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life or visiting the many local places of interest. However you decide to spend your holiday there is always the sauna and spa to spend a relaxing hour.
