We are not just a food bank. We have a history of delivering projects that empower Croydon residents by encouraging participation from our users. We facilitated an ESF programme that supported clients back into education, training or employment (including self-employment). We have engaged participants in community garden projects and clean up days, facilitated workshops, health interventions and a Holiday Food and Fun programme. We have bought communities together with events and supper evenings, and we also hold a yearly festive lunch for residents. With residents and food at the forefront, we have encouraged community cohesion and positive lifestyle changes.
