The Building Safety Act means accountable persons will need to demonstrate that they have effective, proportionate measures in place to manage building safety regulations risks in the higher-risk buildings for which they are responsible. Enforcement is now by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR), set up and managed by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
