The caravan broke from the tow hitch and within minutes, the car was submerged. Mr Wood senior died a few years later. Out of that tragedy retired Nurse Rachel and her son John, launched Ambless Supportline, a National Helpline, offering care and support across the United Kingdom and Ireland. These Helplines, give those an opportunity to talk to someone sympathetic and are a real lifeline to many.
