Matthew Parini attended Siena College in Loudonville, NY where he studied pre-law and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. After college, he attended American University Law School in Washington, D.C. earning the degree of Juris Doctor. He practiced in the Washington, D.C. area for one of Virginia's oldest and most prestigious law firms specializing in insurance, injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Parini represented many of the nation's leading insurance companies in the areas of workers' compensation, automobile and home owners insurance and medical malpractice. The experience he received while representing the insurance companies provides him with the necessary background to understand the insurance companies and how they will defend a claim. This has proven invaluable in his current practice - representing individuals in making claims for compensation resulting from work injuries, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, Social Security Disability and other claims. After seven years of practice in the greater Washington, D.C. area, Attorney Parini began practicing in Erie, Pennsylvania where he continues to focus his practice on helping accident victims navigate the legal process. He regularly appears before the Courts in Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean and other counties. Attorney Parini is admitted to all of the Pennsylvania Courts including the Bureau of Workers' Compensation and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In addition, he regularly appears before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Parini has received numerous awards and accolades for his efforts serving the Erie County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association of Justice. He has made every effort to preserve the rights of individuals as a board member of the Erie County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice. Attorney Parini has previously been elected to represent Pennsylvania's lawyers before the American Bar Association. In addition to serving these organizations, Attorney Parini has written and lectured on various topics including serving as a Professor of Law at his alma mater - American University Law School. He served for three years teaching students all aspects of the legal process from researching legal precedent through preparing motions, briefs and oral argument. Attorney Parini remains actively committed to serving his community through participation in the Legal Aid's pro bono program. In addition, Attorney Parini has lent his time to assisting as a coach for his children's sports teams in the Erie Youth Soccer Association, the Erie Youth Hockey Association and Little League.
