Alento Lounge is that rather handsome peacock blue-tiled building on Fleet Road, in the centre of Fleet. There’s a little pavement terrace outside and big windows that open right up across the front, just perfect for people-watching. Inside, we’ve loads of space stretching all the way back to plenty of cosy corners and comfy chairs. With the book swap and board games to amuse you as we ply you with food and drink, you might find it hard to leave! And yes, we’re peacock blue because we used to be a ‘Peacocks’.
