Born in 1947, David Atherton is a self-taught British contemporary artist from Kent. Before retirement was a graphic designer at BBB design group plc. His works have been exhibited and sold to collectors and buyers all over the world. He has paintings in Canada, Australia, USA, all over Europe, Japan, Russia and UK. He has completed numerous commissions for clients all over the world. He paints in both Oils and Watercolour depending the subject. He also illustrates in pen and ink long with digital artworks. His Love of Light Values in light and shade show heavily in my art.
