Our mission is to be the voice for women who have suffered from domestic abuse by empowering, giving confidence and getting their lives back. We run events throughout the year to bring awareness and to support other community groups and local charities. We believe peer mentor support is a way for our clients to open up about their struggles, mental health and wellbeing. Our signpost and resource support are 100% client led.
As part of our Wellbeing Programme , our aim is to support participants to improve their wellbeing through community engagement and creative activities as well as reduce isolation and loneliness in our communities. They are designed for groups of women to get together with shared experiences around trauma experienced around domestic abuse.
These workshops are designed to encourage individuals to get out of the house, engage with their local community and take part in mindful activities.
