Our History and Background founded in 1989 by William A. Minnis, III, The Minnis Group was started to fill the Employee Benefits needs of businesses throughout the Delaware Valley. From the very beginning, Bill saw an opportunity where he could become a valuable resource to local businesses by offering unrivaled personalized service at no extra costs to his clients. In addition, Bill wanted to build an Employee Benefits agency where companies could trust their Insurance broker and believe in their agents knowledge and commitment to them on a much more personal level. Today The Minnis Group administers the Benefits packages for hundreds of local business of all shapes and sizes within many different industries. It is because of these same fundamental values and principles that The Minnis Group is able to retain their clients, while continually growing, each year.William A. Minnis, III has been in the insurance industry since 1982. Before starting his own agency, Bill worked for six years in the Life and Health and Property and Casualty segments with Wausau Insurance Company as well as Northwestern Mutual Life. His background in the criminal justice field, along with almost thirty years of experience in the insurance industry has given him extensive knowledge on the ethics and legal issues of the business, as well as a full understanding of HIPPA, The ERISA Laws, COBRA, billing, claims processing, and appeals procedures.
