I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2010, I have worked within the specialist field of paediatrics for 9 years. I have experience of working within special educational needs settings and mainstream school and nursery environments. I am a trained practitioner in Ayres Sensory Integration Therapy, having completed modules 1,2 and 3 with the Sensory Integration Network.
I am trained in the use of the Quickshift Therapeutic listening programme, I have experience of working with children from 0-19 with conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Condition, Dyspraxia and ADHD. I also have experience of working with children with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and I have training in constraint induced movement therapy. I have recent training in the SOS approach to feeding and I have been working with children with feeding difficulties.
I am registered with HCPC, have an enhanced CRB (DBR) clearance and am fully insured. I am a member of the RCOT.
