As well as the Instructor, there are eight class assistants in the centre which include teaching assistants from local schools and university graduates.
Students at the centre come from primary and secondary schools as well as private schools, some of which are amongst the best academic schools in the UK. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than 'teaching' students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.
At the centre there is ample parking space in adjacent roads, which are metered up until 4.30pm and free thereafter.
