Sangeet Vishwabharti was founded by Jatinkumar Oza in 1993 in Harrow. The institution has been involved in Indian music teaching and performing in Classical vocal, tabla, harmonium/keyboard, sitar, kathak etc. It is the only institute affiliated in UK and Europe Students follow systemetic syllabus to sit for International music examinations to achieve, diploma, degree and Masters in Indian music. Besides teaching, students learn various aspects of performing arts to become a stage performer, music teacher, examiner, event organiser, music production and more. Many students have performed at various local, regional and national level including 50th India Independence performance at the Wembley Conference Centre, BOPIO performance in South London. Performances include Edinburgh Music Festival, Commonwealth Indian music performance in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth in 1992, Leiscester, Milton Keynes, Luton, Peterborough, South Bank Centre, Winston Churchill Hall, Elliot Hall etc.
