Before training in Psychotherapy, I worked extensively within the criminal justice and social care system with young people and their families, supporting them in making positive changes in their lives. As Psychotherapeutic Counsellor I work with individuals, couples and families on a short term and long-term basis. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive and confidential space that will allow you to explore and gain an understanding of difficult feelings, thoughts and behaviours, that could be affecting you personally or your relationships. I would describe myself as an integrative practitioner, which means that elements of psychoanalytic, humanist and cognitive approaches are integrated into my work, which has enabled me to find my own style of working as a therapist. I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between client and therapist, and that this relational process enables developmental growth and change.
