Founded over a decade ago at the kitchen table by husband and wife team Guy and Milly Whitehead, today The Leap operates in 12 different countries with a team of 17 staff spread across 5 continents.
We offer an unrivalled collection of financially-protected, high-quality gap year programs where safety comes first - all organised and supported by caring and experienced staff. We help young people travel, develop and fulfil their potential.
The Leap is the only company to offer gap year programs which combine multiple locations and different projects in a single trip. This means our Leapers make a positive difference whilst satisfying their desire for travel and adventure.
It’s a winning formula; since 2002 we've successfully sent over 2,400 Leapers overseas. We stand for responsible travel, doing 'our bit' to give back.
We work hard to ensure that every team we send overseas gives something back to the environments and communities they visit, forging lifelong friendships along the way.
Around 65% of your program cost is spent in-country, facilitating projects and supporting countless families in poor communities to the tune of £3 million since 2002.
