Welcome to Apollo Blinds - Blinds in Northampton Apollo Blinds in Northampton offers probably the widest choice of blinds of all the companies in Northamptonshire. We are a one stop shop for Conservatory blinds, Pleated blinds, Roller blinds, Roman blinds, Venetian blinds, Vertical blinds and Wooden blinds. We cater for both domestic and commercial properties and we will be expanding our range to include awnings, canopies and shutters very soon. We are based in our new showroom in Kingsthorpe but we offer a free design consultation to the villages surrounding Northampton, Daventry and Towcester, as well as Kettering and Wellingborough. During your free consultation visit our design consultant Tim will measure your windows, show you our vast array of fabrics and give you our no obligation quotation (valid for 28 days) and will be very willing to accept your order should you choose to place it with us. Jenny will handle any queries you may have, being the main person in the showroom during the week with Jan there on most Saturdays. They will be glad to give you a guided tour of our collection at any time. Please feel free to drop by. We are a family run business. Tim and Jan Hunt, the husband and wife team behind Apollo Blinds Northampton, whilst Jenny Eaton is their eldest daughter. They have been in the Home Improvement Industry for 6 years now and first moved into window blinds over two years ago. They launched Apollo Blinds Northampton in October 2008 as the newest franchise for Apollo. They were the first to work out of the new fully liveried van. Products At Apollo Blinds Northampton you will find the most extensive range of fabrics and styles of all our competitors, our fabulous collections allow you to match your blinds to both the style of your home and your life. Our vast collections begin with the simple roller and vertical blinds, with fabrics and finishes to make the blind feel more extraordinary, right up to the creme de la creme in the luxurious fabrics of our Roman collection and the expensive look of our Wood Venetians. All of which we can show you in the showroom or as we bring the collection books to the design consultation whether you live in Blisworth, Earls Barton, Weedon or Yelvertoft. ~Venetian (with Horizontal slats)~ This is one of the sections of our range with a wide choice. You can have almost any colour in our aluminium range, and then there are the metallic ones and we havent even got to the wooden venetians yet! There are so many options in the Venetian range sometimes its hard to choose but Tim is always on hand. His favourite are the perforated blinds he thinks they look funky! We have examples in our showroom so come and judge for yourself! ~Vertical (with upright slats across your window!)~ These are quite a popular choice both in homes and offices. They are a versatile blind allowing you to adjust the turn of the slats as the sun moves across your window and yet stacking off to the side when you want to admire the view from your window. Quite often you’ll see them at the doctors or dentists in a neutral colour, however our collection includes a variety of colours and Tim fitted some terracotta ones in a conservatory recently. Jan has chosen some lovely red ones which match the curtains in her guest bedroom. We have many different fabrics on display in the showroom. ~Roller (does what it says and comes on a roll)~ We have a fabulous collection of fabrics as well as a wide range of finish options which make even the cheaper fabrics look more expensive. We offer a stylish range of cuts, braids, bars, pulls etc allowing us to cater a finish that will match your own style. Jennys personal favourite is the Kenya fabric with a wooden bar and the wooden ball finished pull. You can come see one on display in our showroom. ~Roman (the one that folds up in big pleats)~ If ever youve thought about blinds and worried that you might miss your curtains then the Roman blind is the one for you. With beautiful rich textiles you can maintain that tactile feel and still match the feel of all your soft furnishing. The extent of our service means we can provide matching cushions with your blind and extra fabric should you wish. Alternatively we can make a roman blind from your favourite material if you have enough! Jenny just loves the Roman collection, and has to stop herself feeling the jacquard fabric on display in the showroom! Tim suggests that with a neutral roman blind behind your favourite patterned curtains you can increase the insulating properties of the window coverings alongside the luxurious feel of the layered look. ~Wooden~ Where to start with the wooden blinds? We have pinoleum blinds which are a sort of woodweave that can work in the same way as a roman blind or a roller blind, the choice is yours. The pinoleum blinds are available in an array of colours and can finish a conservatory or kitchen off a real treat. We have a wide variety of Venetian blinds made from different woods meaning we probably have a wooden Venetian to complement your room. Tim loves the richness of the mahogany wood Venetians but it doesnt go with the light oak furniture he has in the living room! Come and see the selection of wooden blinds we have on display in the showroom. ~Conservatory (all types where appropriate including pleated and Pinoleum)~ Just like the wooden blinds there are many conservatory blinds we can offer. You can of course fit any roller, roman, vertical, Venetian or wooden blind in your conservatory but these can be tricky to fit and operate in your roof! As a solution to this problem wed like to introduce you to the pleated blinds designed to operate in the roof space. We can supply matching pleated blinds to hand in the window space or you could choose from a selection of matching fabrics in a roller or vertical blind collection. We can also supply and fit the perfect fit system which fits directly into the frame of your conservatory with either a Venetian or pleated blind within. With such options to choose from, Jan thinks youll find it hard to decide but knows that Tim will be on hand to give you the benefit of his experience. ~New Ranges~ We will soon be able to offer you awnings, canopies and shutters as we expand our range. Services and Fitting Here at Apollo Blinds Northampton we like to make buying blinds a simple and enjoyable task. In our showroom you are welcome to view our collection and see the samples we have on display as we begin to build what we hope will be a lasting relationship. Our design consultant will visit you in a free home visit, where you can view our collections whilst he measures your windows. This allows you the freedom to feel the fabrics, compare them with others and select the blind in the room where it will finally hang. Before he leaves our consultant will give you our no obligation quotation which remains valid for 28days. When the blinds have been ordered and made to measure your window we offer a free fitting service 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Now we at Apollo Blinds Northampton understand the pressures of life so if you need us to we can fit your blinds outside of these hours but unfortunately we will have to make a charge. Once the blinds have been fitted you can relax because along with the blinds comes our unique 2 year guarantee, where should the blind fail to function properly due to failure of components or manufacturing during normal usage we will repair or replace the blind free of charge.
