Therapeutic Supported Accommodation for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 with complex mental health needs. Mental health needs in our service will include those with any diagnosable mental health condition including eating disorders, autistic spectrum conditions and substance misuse conditions. We will integrate an intensive programme of independent skills teaching, psychological therapy and psychiatric care that meets both the needs of the individual service user and is congruent with NICE guidelines in providing effective treatment. Our overall aim will be to improve the quality of life of these young people by improving their tool kit of adaptive coping skills. We aspire to ensure they achieve the following: managing to live in the community safely and independently, engaging in meaningful education and/or employment, enjoying healthy relationships, exploring their own interests and progressing towards a future they have planned and worked hard to achieve.
