Hypnotherapy... Actually Hypnosis is a natural state similar to night time dreaming, which happens at that moment is called the Rapid Eye Movement phase of sleep, know as REM sleep. Another definition would be that Hypnosis is an artificially induced state of relaxation where the susceptibility of the mind to suggestions is increased. Hypnotherapy has been around for a very long time, and it has gone through many changes during this time. With many famous people putting their mark on methods and modalities that have created the processes that are used to assist many to make changes and to take the next step to self- fulfilment. Using Hypnosis helps you to change unhelpful limiting believes, triggers and or behaviour so that your expectation and instincts work more productively for you. In the relaxed state of Hypnosis your mind and body become highly receptive to new ideas and possibilities and taps into your true potential. Hypnosis is used to bypass the conscious mind and to access the knowledge and wisdom within the subconscious where all our memories and core beliefs about ourselves are stored. Sometimes with the imput received and circumstances, or from others the thoughts get distorted, leaving an emotional, physical and habit forming problems. Helping you to identify the negative set of beliefs and what consequences you have come to expect from your behaviour and then help you develop the skills to manage all situations more effectively. To re-evaluate the validity of distorted thoughts, and change them. Addiction...
