About

Nottingham Mobile Disco is a brand-new business serving Nottingham, Derby and the rest of the East Midlands area. Although it’s a new venture, Nottingham Mobile Disco has been built on foundations that span over 4 decades of practical Mobile DJ experience in a variety of different guises.


Lee has had turntables as a permanent fixture in his home since the 80s and DJing has been his lifetime passion, he is even a published author on the subject. He has not only been a mobile DJ in the regular sense but has served as a session recording artist as a scratch DJ for music producers around the world. In 1989 Lee started to enter DJ competitions and won 6 UK titles and an international competition appearing in no less than 9 world finals, placing third in the Disco Mix Club World Mixing Championships 2009. In 2021 Lee decided to enter one last time and became the International DJ Association UK champion, the oldest ever to win this prestigious award, proving that he is still credible after such a long time in the scene.

Mobile DJ

Lee has played in clubs and events around the UK and Europe and has been a regular fixture as the after-party DJ at the world DJ finals in Krakow Poland. To be the DJ at an event focussing on the world’s best upcoming DJs goes to show the standard he is capable of and how highly regarded he is in the industry.


In December 2021 Lee had the idea to launch Nottingham Mobile Disco giving people the opportunity to bring their ultimate party ideas to life with a world-class DJ at their disposal and at a cost that is very reasonable. It also occurred to him that people want to be able to choose the music they want to dance to without the hassle of visiting the DJ booth, so we offer you the chance to pick the playlist that you want. I first employed the bespoke playlist at a wedding event in 2013. I worked closely with the bride and groom, and they included a song request form in their wedding invitation pack that they sent out to all of their guests. It was almost like a challenge as the guests all had varying tastes in music. The result was that everyone enjoyed the technical but musical mix that I performed live, and it set the standard for me to work hard behind the scenes to provide great and bespoke sets for future clients.
