Black Rock Sands Beach is only a 10-minute drive away with miles and miles of golden sand, perfect for a family beach trip in North Wales. The Maritime Museum and Welsh Highland Heritage Railway are only a short drive away too, and make a great alternative to outdoorsy activities if the weather’s not great. Nearby Caernarfon Castle is well worth a visit too, it has an amazing history and will be a highlight for any family trips or for anyone interested in learning more about Welsh history.
