1st Central Driving School 1st Central offers a full range of driving courses including pay-as-you-go lessons to prepare drivers for the driving test, block booking packages, intensive and semi intensive driving courses and Post driving test courses including Pass Plus, Advanced Driving Lessons, Refresher Training and Older Drivers courses. Locations Covered 1st Central Driving School can currently offer lessons (minimum duration 1 hour) in the following Postal Areas: PO1, PO2, PO3, PO4, PO5, PO6, PO7, PO8, PO9, PO10, PO11, PO16 & PO17. (If you live or work just outside these areas it might still be possible to accommodate you - please contact us for more details). Intensive & Semi-Intensive courses with 1st Central can be booked at Test Centres further afield, including Aldershot, Chichester, Gosport, Southampton, Winchester and Worthing - if you want us to take bookings from these areas all we ask is that each lesson is of a minimum of 3 hours duration. More About 1st Central 1st Central Driving School is the Driving School of Patrick Clarke, who will normally be your instructor if you book lessons with 1st Central, unless the customer expressly agrees to have their lessons sub-contracted to another instructor. Patrick Clarke is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and currently uses a Vauxhall Astra 1.7 Envoy TDi for lessons booked with him (see above). Occasionally lessons have been sub-contracted to other instructors, but only with the expressed agreement of the customer being referred. Patrick Clarke is registered with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) to give Pass Plus lessons. All newly qualified drivers are strongly recommended to take this course. I am a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA), the UK's largest trade association for Professional Driving Instructors. I am a member of the Guild of Experienced Motorists (GEM) - now known as GEM Motoring Assist - which has been serving drivers for 75 years.
