We recognise that when someone has died there is so much to do; organising the funeral, contacting family and friends, notifying people of the death, dealing with the estate. It is after the funeral has taken place that so many people begin to come to terms with their new and unwelcome situation. Family and friends may offer help and companionship, but they lead their own lives too. For those whose families have grown up, and left their parents to have families of their own, it is an especially difficult adjustment. Because we understand just how hard this adjustment can be, we have developed Bereavement Care.
Bereavement Care are committed and passionate about helping you to help yourself in the short, medium and long term. Bereavement Care (previously known as The Bereavement Centre) was established in 2000 in partnership with The Co-operative Funeralcare and other trusted funeral directors.
