The Howard Rosedale Abbey Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite offers a tranquil riverside location in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. Farndale Valley is adjacent to the caravan site, where the famous wild daffodils can be enjoyed around spring time. In mid-August, the Rosedale Show is not to be missed. The coast is within easy driving distance, and nearby Pickering offers lots of shops and other conveniences, together with the terminus of North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. There are many historic sites in the vicinity, including the Jurassic rock formations at the National Trust’s Bridestones, Pickering Castle, Whitby Abbey, Helmsley Castle and English Heritage sites. A short stroll away, the village of Rosedale boasts two pubs.
