started the school for my daughter, Sophia, when she was two. I looked into what childcare was available in the area and realised that I needed to give parents an alternative. I wanted to adopt Maria Montessori principles because it follows the child's interests, which then is used to support the child's development in all areas of their learning. Over the last 26 years, we have taught over 600 children, founding the school in January 1991, and we have kept true to the Montessori ethos. In 2008 we were accredited by the Montessori Schools Association, took on board the governments Early Years Foundation Stage and integrated it with our principles and philosophy.
