Paul Soreff has more than 28 years of immigration experience.Paul has recently served as Chairperson for the Washington Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as well as been a member of AILA's National Board of Governors. Paul has extensive experience in all aspects of immigration law, particularly labor certificates, H, L, O, & TN petitions, as well as other non-immigrant and immigrant visas for foreign personnel, family petitions, litigation, and asylum claims for various countries. In 1998 Paul moved to Seattle , WA where he maintains a private practice specializing in business and family immigration law. From 1976 to 1991 he was the managing partner of a small law firm in Louisville, KY. In 1992 he followed his wife to Birmingham , AL where he had a private immigration practice for six years and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law where he taught Immigration Law. Paul has held many leadership positions within the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Previous positions include: AILA National Board of Governors, Chair of the National Investment Committee, Member of the National Finance Committee, Washington State Executive Committee, MidSouth Chapter Chair, and Kentucky State Coordinator. Additionally, he has organized and lectured at numerous Continuing Legal Education Seminars and given many talks on immigration to the public. Since 2001, he has testified as an expert witness on immigration law before Administrative Law Judges at numerous Unemployment Compensation Hearings. Paul has over 28 years of immigration experience, during which he has received many awards and recognition for his excellent services, including:Outstanding Immigration Lawyer, Best Lawyers in America, 1999 - 2005. A. Carin Weinrich joined the firm in January 2005. She received a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from Scripps College in Claremont, CA and her J.D. from Gonzaga University in Spokane WA. Since March 1999, Carin's practice has focused exclusively on immigration law. She has an extensive experience in all aspects of immigration law, particularly employment based immigration. This includes an expertise in counseling companies and individuals in H, L, O, and TN petitions as well as other nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for foreign personnel. In addition, she has a background in family petitions.Carin is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
