The Half Moon in Sherborne is a welcoming, friendly pub with drinks aplenty and food to suit every appetite. We serve homely, tasty food ranging from fish and chips to roast chicken so if you don’t fancy spending hours in the kitchen and dealing with a ton of washing up, why not visit and let us take the stress away? We are masters when it comes to keeping real ale and will happily suggest the best pint, or glass of wine, to go with your meal. We are a stone’s throw from the beautiful Sherborne Abbey so if you are visiting for the day, whether in the height of summer or on a chilly winter’s day, we have something to suit. We also have 13 comfortable, ensuite guest rooms so if you’ve had a busy day exploring, you can head back and get a proper, good night’s sleep.
