Here at Brookfields Funeralcare we truly are at the heart of the Southport community, based on Shakespeare Street right next door to the Salvation Army.
Our funeral home is a comfortable and welcoming environment where we support and guide you through, what is, a very difficult time.
We regularly engage with our local community and have our very own book swap library in our doorway.

Debbie McGlone is your funeral director at Brookfields, she has been with Co-op for five years. Debbie started during covid as one of our Funeral Service Crew, she has an absolute passion for the care and respect of all of our deceased. Debbie has consistently grown in her role at Co-op, always striving to enhance her knowledge of the industry and completing optional training and courses to ensure she is always up to date with industry standards. Debbie has covered most roles in our funeralcare homes and in June this year became our new full time funeral director. Debbie is always open and honest with her clients, she is warm and knowledgeable and is with her clients throughout every step of their journey with us.
Debbie Plant is your funeral arranger at Brookfields Funeralcare, Debbie has worked with us for nine years and is an asset to the branch and the families we serve. Debbie works to ensure all of our families receive the best service from arrangement to the day of funeral and beyond, this is proven by the amount of families that return to Brookfields for subsequent funerals and the amount of families who come to us from recommendations. Debbie has an extensive work background in care and this truly shines through in her role here at Brookfields.
