At Navigate Mediation we believe there can be a better way than going to court to sort out disputes and issues of contention, even where communication between two parties is still amicable, or alternatively has become strained or broken down. Providing both parties are willing to participate, our purpose as impartial mediators is to help you creatively identify, explore and reach workable solutions for your particular circumstances and areas of difficulty.
In our view the most compelling reason to try mediation is that two parties can be helped to reach joint decisions about their own future for themselves. If you go to court, a judge is responsible for making a legally binding ruling for the two parties, introducing the risk that one or both parties may be unhappy with the outcome.
But that's not all. Mediation is quicker, cheaper and arguably less stressful than going to court: all important factors when parties are keen to move forward with their lives as soon as possible.
