Sully Day Opportunities provides a day service to disabled adults living in the local Glamorgan area. We also have a community base in Barry. At Sully Day Opportunities, we empower the people we support to access the freedom they need to live fulfilling lives. That’s why our doors have been open for over 40 years, providing a range of support tailored to the individual needs of people using our services. They decide how they want to develop their independence. Together we meet their aspirations.
What we provide is different for each customer, based on their needs and wishes. Every individual can be supported to learn and develop skills in:

At Sully Day Opportunities, we give disabled adults the opportunity to try a full range of indoor and outdoor leisure and social activities, both individually and as part of a group. This includes:
• arts and crafts
• sensory room and sensory activities
• music and drama
• cooking and baking
• gardening and wildlife
• computer sessions
• visits to the cinema, swimming, bowling and much more
Through our flexible support you’ll gain new skills, confidence and independence. It’s your choice what you’ll do.
We have fully accessible, purpose-built facilities including three large activity rooms, accessible toilets and full changing facilities. There are mobile hoists available and a fully accessible split-level kitchen. We have a large state-of-the-art sensory room, including a ball pit. There is a café on site, with an extensive menu and the lounge area has free wi-fi access. We have an IT suite with ten computers and three touchscreens and accessible peripherals.
For entertainment, we have a 6ft cinema screen with projector and surround sound, video games and sound controlled disco lighting. iPod docking sound systems are in all the main rooms. There is a 3D wide screen television, air hockey, table tennis and a pool table. Outdoors, we also have a large garden with raised beds, accessible polytunnel, patio areas and a fish pond.
