Visterra Credit Union has been providing financial services since 1953. Originally chartered and organized as March Air Force Base Credit Union in Riverside, we served the military community and their families with offices located directly on the base. In 1980, the Credit Union's headquarters moved to the corner of Cactus Avenue and Graham Street in Moreno Valley where we reside today. At that time, we began serving additional Small Employer Groups (SEGs) and their families. In 1998 we changed our name to March Community Credit Union and began serving anyone who lived or worked in Western Riverside County. This change was followed by the opening of our second branch in Corona in 2001. To better reflect our future strategic vision, we became known as Visterra Credit Union in March of 2006. Visterra is a combination of the words Vista and the Latin root terra and together represent visionary growth and stability. During this time, we also changed our field of membership to accept anyone living or working in Riverside County. Additionally, we opened a third branch in the city of Murrieta. On April 30, 2007, we merged with Raincross Credit Union adding a fourth branch in Riverside. A fifth branch followed in 2008 in the Stoneridge Towne Centre, the second in Moreno Valley. At Visterra Credit Union, it is our mission to build valued relationships through personalized financial solution.
