I have always had a keen interest in art and photography. As a child my main inspiration came from the book 'The secret of the Gnomes', I spent many hours creating gnome caricatures of people I knew. Looking back, my family were very kind, but I'm sure I must have offended a few people. I studied Fine art and Graphic design at Farnborough 6th form college, before briefly attending Farnham art college to do a foundation course. I left art college to relocate to the Isle of Wight to join my family in 1995. I spent a few years working in a hotel, enjoying the beach in the afternoon before realising I needed to grow up and be a responsible adult who paid more than the council tax per month to their mum for their keep. I now have a good full time job, a family and those responsibilities that I craved. Now I'm mainly confused, tired and surprised on a daily basis....painting and listening to music in my studio is my sanctuary.
