Established in 2010, Rio Driving School was founded by one driving instructor, Paul Fisher. Always seeking out the very best driver coaching, Paul was inspired and trained by the hugely respected former Police Sergeant Advanced Driving Instructor and Examiner Chris Gilbert, who also instructed HRH Prince William and HRH Prince Harry.
Having attained the UK's highest civilian driving awards, Paul's success as a driving instructor very soon meant that he was unable to cope with huge demands for his popularity; Rio Driving School needed to expand. One driving instructor soon became three, hence our original 'Rio Trio'!
Paul was always very cautious about allowing Rio to grow too quickly because quality was paramount. Every driving instructor on the team was personally hand-picked by Paul; they had to be very good indeed to meet his standards!
