About us Our South Shields B&B serves a full English breakfast (freshly cooked to order) from 6:30am to 9:30am seven days a week. Guests are also offered use of a fridge and microwave in our dining room. South Tyneside is an ideal place to base your stay in Tyne and Wear. We are just a few minutes drive from the the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel making Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, North Shields, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland and Tynemouth all quick and easy to get to. Our South Shields Guest House is located just a few minutes walk from local parks and beaches, shopping areas, restaurants, great nightlife and local transport links. Free parking is available right outside Annie's and we are just a few minutes walk from the Tyne & Wear Metro (train), South Shields bus station and the South Shields ferry terminal. Arriving by bike? We are just a hundred yards from a National Cycle Route, cyclists welcome, we offer free overnight cycle and motorcycle parking. Not driving? No problem... as well as local bus services, South Shields is part of the frequent and rapid Tyne and Wear Metro (train) system, linking Gateshead, Newcastle, North Shields, South Shields, Sunderland and Tynemouth. South Shields is just 20 minutes from Newcastle Central station by Metro (train) and South Shields Metro station is less then ten minutes walk from our bed and breakfast. Our South Shields B&B has a full fire certificate and our training includes first aid, food hygiene and fluent British Sign Language (BSL). We accept all major credit and debit cards in person, by telephone and online. Sorry, but we do not accept pets, Stag, Hen or all-male/all-female groups.
