Amarna House Care Home in York is a community driven residential care home situated in the district of Acomb. The home offers a range of activities and excursions which are well supported by family members and regular visits by community groups from across York. The food is freshly prepared and cooked with our residents needs in mind. There is a cafe where freshly baked cakes and biscuits are available all day, every day. Amarna is a proud home, full of life, fun and companionship, residents settle quickly and we take care to make new residents feel supported and involved. Our garden has a green house and in here residents help keep the garden well stocked with plants and herbs for the kitchen. We welcome pets to our retirement home.
