Practice OverviewOur practice is owned and operated by its founding GPs with a team of longstanding and friendly staff, providing extended hours care to the wider community. We are fully computerised and offer friendly staff and loyal patient base. We offer full-time registered nurse support, dedicated consulting and treatment rooms, on-site pathology collection, audiology and x-ray facilities. We provide a wide range of medical services to a diverse multi-cultural area, offering registrars an ideal teaching and learning environment.
Practice Description
Our practice is located in St Marys, Western Sydney. There is plenty of parking including an undercover parking area. We are open Monday to Friday 8am-9pm, 8am-9pm on Saturday & 8am-7pm on Sunday. We offer on-site pathology collection Monday to Saturday as well as x-ray facilities 7 days a week. Our practice has seven consulting rooms and one two-bed procedure room. We are fully computerised with Medical Director 3 and Pracsoft and have broadband internet access.
Located within the same complex are Physiotherapist, Psychology and Chemist services.
Practice Staff
We have had the same experienced and friendly staff for years. We have two GP supervisors, & seven GPs. We also have a full-time registered nurse. There are four full time receptionists and eight casual receptionists. We have a dietician and podiatrist who both visit one a fortnight as well as weekly audiology by a qualified audiologist.
Practice patient base and services
We deal mainly with families who have young children and seniors.
We offer a wide range of services and procedures such as: general health screens, family planning, women's and men's health, pregnancy tests, ECG, vaccination, immunisation, minor surgery, removal of moles and skin lesions, work injuries, hearing tests, and pre-employment insurance.
Information for Registrars
Working hours for Registrars are negotiable and usually include at least one closing shift (i.e. until 9pm) and one weekend shift on either Saturday or Sunday.
Registrars will have the opportunity to experience first-hand, a wide range of medical conditions and develop a deeper understanding of and appreciation for many cultures.
In addition to formal teaching sessions, the GP supervisor is available to assist them with any problems or queries as they arise. Our other GPs also support the training program and can provide assistance as needed.s
