RESIDENCIAS PARA PERSONAS MAYORES , CENTROS GERIÁTRICOS El centro de mayores Artevida Rivas comenzó a ofrecer sus servicios el 14 de Enero de 2008. Fue entonces cuando la residencia abrió sus puertas y puso a disposición de los residentes 104 plazas con un criterio de gestión similar al del sector hotelero en cuanto a confort, con todos los servicios asistenciales y una atención personalizada. El centro de Rivas fue concebido como un moderno centro socio-sanitario de la mejor calidad, en el que el residente cuenta con la máxima seguridad y el máximo confort. La dirección del centro fue encomendada a Juan Castilla, especialista en Gerontología Social por el IMSERSO y la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, miembro numerario de la Sociedad Española de Geriatría y Gerontología (SEGG), colaborador habitual de la Asociación Nacional de Familiares de Alzheimer de Madrid (AFAL-Contigo) y co-autor de diferentes libros de Geriatría, Neurología y Psicología, que fue el encargado de seleccionar personalmente a los diferentes profesionales que trabajan en la residencia.
