La Fratelli Contorno è una storica azienda siciliana che produce conserve alimentari, fondata dai fratelli Antonino e Luciano Contorno nel lontano 1916 nel quartiere Sette Cannoli a Palermo.Negli anni questo nome si è imposto sul mercato per lautentica genuinità e freschezza aromatica delle sue conserve, la stessa che ha fatto meritare al Cavalier Antonino Contorno, corazziere Guardia del Re, del regno d'Italia, un attestato di benemerenza.
Oggi la Fratelli Contorno, con le sue maestranze, rappresenta le più antica realtà economica del settore ancora produttiva, capace di mettere in risalto tutte le potenzialità della cucina siciliana che bene si esprimono, ad esempio, nella Caponatina di melanzane, Condimento per pasta con sarde e Salsa di pomodorino ciliegino.
E' importante sottolineare come alcune lavorazioni, ancora oggi, vengano svolte dallinsostituibile mano dopera dei cuochi dell'azienda che, nel pieno rispetto delle norme igieniche, danno un valore aggiunto al prodotto finale, rendendolo unico nel suo genere.
