Ahlesa blankets (Pty) Limited was established in Atlantis, Cape Town in 1996 as a result of the department of trade and industry’s relocation incentives. In 2001 the company acquired the Waverley blanket manufacturing plant and moved the plant to Atlantis.The factory is on 65000 square meters of land and has a covered area of 26000 square meters. The company, with a staff compliment of over 300 people – most of whom are from Atlantis and nearby towns- plays a major role in upliftment of the local community. With the establishment of its own dyehouse, spinning mill, weaving department and design studio, Ahlesa prides itself on being able to offer acomprehensive list of services to itscustomers. Clients are now able to custom design blankets through the use of our –in –house design studio.
