Macrogen, Inc. is a Korea-based company engaged in the customized transgenic and other services in the field of biomedical research. The Company operates its business through four divisions: deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequencing division, which provides genome sequencing analysis services; DNA chips division, which develops DNA chips products, such as MacArray Karyo chips and others; transgenic and knockout mouse division, which offers gene engineering services, and oligonucleotide DNA division, which offers oligonucleotide DNA manufacturing services. The Company operates its business within domestic market and in overseas markets. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had six affiliated companies.
