Rates are per person $885 USD (budget)based on 2 people sharing 1 room Excluding international flights (from/to your home country) Over View: Come face to face with the Silverback Mountain Gorilla of the Bwindi impenetrable forest in South-Western Uganda. This trek is a fly in and out package with two nights in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi. This mysterious and awesome forest is true African jungle, and is so called because the dense undergrowth, vines and other vegetation make it almost "impenetrable". The time taken to find the Gorillas varies with the weather and terrain and once you sight the Gorillas you will have one hour to view. Detailed Travel Plan: Day 1: Early morning after breakfast at 7.00 am the driver will pick you from the guesthouse and then leave for the South West of Uganda. The first part takes us through central Uganda. They will have Lunch in Mbarara at the famous Igongo Culture Centre and from here we will continue the journey through Rukugiri District passing villages, cultivated farms, hills before you reach in Buhoma Bwindi. Check in at Lodge, dinner and overnight at their booked Lodge. Driving time: ± 9 hours Day 2: Bwindi (Buhoma) – Kihihi – Entebbe After an early breakfast, depart your lodge with picnic lunch boxes, and assemble at the Buhoma Park Headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (a short walk away from your lodge) to be introduced to your rangers, and for a briefing on your trek before you begin your gorilla tracking expedition. When you find the gorillas you will be permitted to view them for an hour before returning to the ranger post and to your lodge. The time it takes varies , depending on the weather conditions and the general mood of the Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. Day 3: After breakfast, the last part of the journey will bring us back to Kampala. We will stop in Mbarara for Lunch and then continue, after Masaka town we will stop at the Equator for Tea/Coffee break and buying souvenirs. We will bring you back to Hotel of your choice in Kampala for overnight. If you are continuing your journey somewhere else or back home, we will bring you to the airport for check in.
