PASMA Training (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association) is the most extensively recognised form of mobile access tower training in the UK. The work at height regulations 2005 require that anyone using mobile access towers must be competent, or under the supervision of a competent person. A competent person must be able to demonstrate that they have the sufficient training, knowledge and experience in order to carry out their duties responsibly. They must also be able to understand any potential hazards or technical defects related to the work / equipment. The course is designed to train delegates in the safe assembly, use and dismantle of mobile access towers. On successful completion of the PASMA course delegates will receive a PASMA operators certificate and identification card valid for 5 years. First Safety Training are a CITB accredited CPCS, City and Guilds, Driver CPC and CSCS approved training centre, based in Aldermaston, near Reading in Berkshire. Who Should Attend?
This course is for first line managers – those who have to, or are about to, acquire supervisory responsibilities. It provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It will provide a sound knowledge base to enable them to give valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site.

Training Methods
This course is a classroom based session with minor coursework and exam at the end of the second day. First Safety Training offer CPCS and NPORS Training, Testing and NVQs in a wide variety of Construction Plant so you can obtain an Operator card.
