CARBO has garnered extensive peer recognition and has received over 70 design awards on the state and national levels. In 2014, the firm was awarded the prestigious National ASLA Award of Excellence for the Woodland Rain Garden near Shreveport, Louisiana. Most recently, CARBO was awarded a 2016 National ASLA Honor Award for the St. Landry Parish Visitor Center, a 2016 National ASLA Honor Award for Destination: The Lakes (in association with SWA Group), and a 2016 National AIA Education Facility Design Award of Merit for the Indian Springs School (in association with Lake | Flato Architects) in Birmingham, Alabama.
